Martial Arts head and face protection?
hello all i have just a quick question.
im looking to start a full contact Martial Arts
now here the prob i have i wear glassis and cant see with out them .
what type of head and face protection can i buy to protect my head but also keep my glassis from getting knocked of my face and getting broken
You can't fight with your glasses off, for your own safety. You're simply not allowed to wear them even if you wanted to.
If they break they could cut deep into your eyes, making you blind for real.
Fighting with glasses could be a hazard to others, as well. For example if you choose MMA, in where you'd have to grapple/wrestle, your glasses might injure your sparring partners.
Head protectors won't protect your glasses from falling off, either.
They are also very unnecessary, unless you're going to fight very hard.
Nobody uses head protectors in sparring anymore, because the sparring is so light.
So my tip would be to learn how to fight without your glasses, just like i did, and many others have done before me.
Your eyesight might also improve as you fight without glasses.
